Jeez jezzabelle, y don’t u keep it to yourself because u r 14yo and probably can’t pronounce pseudoscience let alone identify one. If you really want to help people why don’t you work to understand all views. Remember, the first step toward wisdom is understanding what it is that you do not yet know.

Sorry you feel that way jezzebelle you have alot to learn outside what is taught in school or seen on the news. 14 years old its good you have a passion to help people I feel, and I’m sure alot of psychiatrists have that same aim at first. Then they realize they are not curing anyone at all, medications prove to do nothing consistant, harm peoples lives by getting them addicted chemical imbalance of brain cells is where this all came from? Joseph Schieldkraut (maybe wrong spelling) created this documented discovery as a theory which 30-40 years of time has never been proved. Once they can show proof, which is very doubtful I do not support the profession at all. Remember WWII .. Hitler.. Nazis all stemmed from psychiatry and their “discoveries” this time its not so “apparent”

I disagree…….
Psychiatrists aren’t trying to do anything to harm people with mental disorders, they just want to help.
So you say people who repeatedly try to commit suicide or have suicidal thoughts have nothing wrong with them?
People who have schizophrenia and have delusions and hullucinations, have absolutely no problems?
People with a personality disorder have not a thing wrong with them too, huh?
wrong.
I am fourteen years old, and i just want to help these people with disorders.
I want to be a psychiatrist, and psychoanalysis,
Why?
So i can explore the mind of my clients,
and try to help them lead normal and healthy lives.
Don’t dis this profession,
if you don’t like the idea of it,
then keep it to yourself cause noone else wants to hear it.
