Many educators are telling parents of school aged children, their children may have ADHD. These educators, including school psychologists are committing not only education malpractice but medical malpractice. The incentive, of having these children labeled as ADHD, emotional disabled, and behavior disabled, results in state and federal dollars once these children are tracked and segregated into special education. Many of these children are poor, and often times these parents are not well informed. Children, that are classified with having mental health issues are being discriminatated against by school officials. These are the children that are being suspended and expelled from school and also ending up in the juvenile justice system. I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely.
