ADHD—Labeling normal kids “mentally ill”
ADHD is a bogus mental “disorder” based off a checklist of behaviors. There are no medical tests to prove any child has ADHD, yet more than 4.5 million kids have been diagnosed and put on drugs such as Ritalin, Adderall and Concerta, which the U.S. DEA places in the same highly addictive category of drugs as cocaine, morphine and opium. The “checklist” for ADHD could fit any normal child and literally includes such ridiculous criteria as
“loses pencils or toys”
“often does not seem to listen”
“is easily distracted by extraneous stimuli” (what kid isn’t?)
“fidgets”
” runs about or climbs excessively in situations when it is not appropriate” (we are talking about KIDS here… right?)
To summarize; there are no blood tests, brain scans, chemical imbalance tests, X-rays or “genetic” factors to prove any child has a mental “illness” called ADHD. This is simply a list of child-like behaviors that psychiatrists clustered together, repackaged as a mental disorder and the result is a multi billion dollar empire — the child labeling and drugging industry.

1991 FDA Hearing with Testimony
As far back as 1991 CCHR was exposing the fact that antidepressants can cause suicide and violence. It would take 13 years for the FDA to finally admit this was true, and issued the agencies strongest warning, the “black box”, in 2004.

Psychiatric Abuse of the Elderly
Psychiatry and those who follow their practices (drugs, restraints, electroshock) have no reverence or respect for the elderly, and employ dangerous drugs and ‘treatments’ as a method of control and keeping them quiet. They will happily supply endless prescriptions of psychoactive drugs or ECT. In just a six-month time period in 2007, Medicare received $309 million in claims for antipsychotics for elderly in nursing homes. Daniel R. Levinson, Office of Inspector General (OIG), Department of Health and Human Services, stated recently, “Despite the fact that it is potentially lethal to prescribe antipsychotics to patients with dementia, there’s ample evidence that some drug companies aggressively marketed their products towards such populations, putting profits before safety…. Government, taxpayers, nursing home residents, as well as their families and caregivers should be outraged — and seek solutions.”
Electroshock — It’s Not Treatment, It’s Torture
Electroshock, renamed electroconvulsive therapy or ECT is not only still being given to hundreds of thousands per year, but frequently without their consent. Documented effects of electroshock include short and long term memory loss, brain seizures, life-threatening cardiovascular events and death. Psychiatrists admit they don’t know how ECT “works” but that doesn’t stop them from administering it to hundreds of thousands of people per year, including the elderly, children and pregnant women. I could barely believe that all this is seriously going on in the US we are supposed to have a safe place to live and our country is supposed to love and care for us. Even more so these so called “doctors” [psychiatrists] are filling not only adults but 2 year old children with these medications that have so many unknown side effects.
im a father of seven children,the first five were all born healthy and fit with no problems,i began to suffer from severe depression and was put on different drug for it,i had to make a decision to come off them when i began to feel suicidal and ran my car at high speed into a wall,during my time on them me and my wife had to more kids,two little boys and they are both severely autistic,im beginning to wonder has taken these drugs maybe had a part to play in my two boys been born like this,i dont know if there has been any research on it, but autism is climbing at an unbelievable rate and so has the use of psychotropic drugs,its certainly food for thought.

its interesting that this news letter would be a lesson to those who involve in consuming drugs i need to be a full time worker in promoting awareness can i do so.
My twin sister Natalie and I are 33 now. Before we were 19 years of age, my sister went through 3 sets of EST (Electric Shock Treatment). first one at the age of 14. She was prescribed every drug in the book, from prozac to valium, you name it. She tried to commit suicide more times than I can count. At the age of 23, exactly 10 years ago, she made a promise to me, her twin that she will not leave me that way. Thanks to the CCHR full investigations are being done and I still have my twin sister by my side every day.

Most importantly for me, would be to warn others that ECT (Electro Convulsive “Therapy” ) will really mess with your short-term memory –ALLOT ! You don’t really realize HOW MUCH you rely on that mental ability….. UNTIL YOU LOOSE IT ! Any problems with depression for example, are much much worse, after the “shock” wears off and one then realizes he now has another serious problem to deal with, that he never had before…… Short-term memort loss.
What is short-term memory loss ? Here’s the best example I personally could give you:
Men: You put something in the back of your pickup truck and close the lid over the bed of truck, to go powerwash it off, when you go to wash your truck also, at the local self-service car wash. But you have to pull over on the way to the car wash to look…… cause you can’t remember anymore, actually putting it in the back of the truck (and it does have to be cleaned – today !
Women: Your in a big big hurry and your running late for work! As your running out of the house to your car, you suddenly start getting upset because you can’t remember for sure if you put any make-up on this morning, or wether you left the cat some food for the day etc, etc, etc.

Shock “Treatments” is not going to solve — just make things worse;

I was a guardian for a severely mentally handicapped person with an IQ of 52. I discovered that a “counselor” was assigned to him for weekly sessions because a psychiatrist wrote he was depressed. then I was contacted that this poor little soul needed a psychiatric drug for his depression. I said NO! I was threatened with loss of my license because my accusers said I was being abusive to my client. I moved my client to another area out of the reach of this counselor and psychiatrist and wrote to the Governor about using tax dollars for fraudulent diagnosis on a mentally handicapped person who absolutely did not know what the word, “depression” was unless he had been brainwashed by the psychiatrist and the counselor. No answer from the Governor.
I have a question- why is it that everyone who complains about antidepressants and all the other drugs, complain about the ones prescribed 30 or more years ago. If I did not take these drugs I would never sleep in my manic stages, never get out of bed in my depressed stage. These drugs have given me a new sense of life- I am able to be a good mother for my kids. I spent years thinking if I just tried harder or prayed more then I would be okay. My psychiatrist also told me that drugs alone would not solve my problem, he said I also needed therapy. I don’t go to a psychologist but a social worker. Everyone is allowed their opinions so I will stick with mine.
One other question- it is true there is no blood test or xray to diagnose psychological issues but there is also no blood test or xray to diagnose my fibromyalgia but they gave me that diagnosis. Is my physical pain all in my head as well?

Allright, I have heard psychiatry have alliance with big pharma, but does psychiatry have alliance with media for media manipulation?
As some guys in psychiatry say psychopaths (psychopath symptoms according Hare is not even accepted as disease, but still some health care people label some people be sick psychopaths who are able to cure) manipulate, then we should notice that media manipulation by psychiatry industry is psychopathic as many victims say psychiatry care has destroyed their lives
Also in psychiatry they say psychopaths fool people. That is very funny, as in Sweden there are proof that psychiatry fool people think they are sick
Is not funny, actully sad when victims are the people, but is funny when some guys who work in psychiatry label other psychopaths but are not aware that their work is more pharmocracy and psychopaty in the name of sympathy and science
I agree with most here that psychatric drugs should be abolished especially in NC State. My child was tormented, tested and experimented on without my consent all because they said they wanted to help her. She came close to dying in this state because of their testing. These so-called drugs that supposed to help have done more harm than good. I am so glad to be away from that ignorant state. All people could be better citizens without the use of psych drugs if someone would take the time to mentor & counsel them back to a better state of reality. Drugs like these only mask the problem while causing other symptoms to form so their doctors can be kept busy making money along with the pharmacies. CCHR is right what will the future be with our kids being mentally damaged by psych testing?
This is a great video, because it is reality. It made me cry. Accusers are often what they accuse others of being…psychiatrists who make accusations of mental illness are mentally ill themselves, because they are unable to have relationships.
I am glad to see videos about these poisons, and the awareness about them coming more into view. But, I do wonder why scientology is involved, I mean aren’t there doctors and the psycho drug givers and crooks members of this religion? I am not a fan of this religion, mostly due to the lies and stuff, but it makes me wonder why they are having a sub group such as cchr and what are they really trying to do? I have read there is no mention of autism and that scientology thinks autism is a disease and they are for drugs being handed out. That is hypocrisy. Autism is a bogus disease and brought on by the vaccines, but yet cchr and scientology helps push vaccines and other type of drugs. What gives?

The question is, why continue to prescribe antidepressant drugs if they are so obviously ineffective?

How many familys are destroyed by SSRI’s. I would have been married 20 years this year if my wife had not been put on flouexetine after her mother passed 3 years ago with absolutely no warning from the MD about the possible side effects. Namely personality change and emotional numbing. She came home 1 1/2 years ago saying she found an appartment and the divorce was final 2 weeks ago. I took her to the courthouse so she could file, not a tear in her eye. She was always a sensitive caring person, but no more. Emotionless as our daughter describes her. I have gone thru 3 years of nightmares that never stop. The only hope I have now is to get her off the drugs as I am sure she is addicted to them. Tried asking begging her to get off them as I know what her life is going o be if she does not. sent letter to MD that prescribed, but the nurse practitioner I spoke to said it is probably someting other then the drugs. I know better. People and FAMILYS need to be warned before these damned pills are prescribed. We were not warned. We are both victims. this drug has had a devestating effect on both our lives, and her more then mine, the sad truth about it is she does not have a clue. As in her own words “I am happy, at least I think I am” Sad
Rebecca Bradshaw 17 is dead because she was overdosed on prescribed medications in 24/7 care. she was on flouroxitine,vallium, Tamaze and other meds. I cannot even get an inquest because she was considered to be directly under a psychiatrists care when she died.If you trust your psyciatrist you obviously have been brain washed into thinking they care.I only found out about CCHR after my daughter died and only because They were the only organisation who listened to our family’s story and advocated for me to get legal representation and push for an inquest. I want to and makes these educated goverment funded drug dealers accountable. Thanks CCHR

The Childrens Services attack the child held under initial custody or emergency apprehension orders using the Alberta Response Model Teams. The Glenrose Hospital is responsible for testifying against the child in court ( Dr. Nyrhaney/ Dr. Hodleveskyy or psychologist Perlitta Torres). The fake treatments are to be sold to the backers of Autism Speaks Kaiser Permanente. Lobbyists from Autism Speaks are attempting to enter the Accelerated Autism Treatment bill to allow these falsified treatments to be sold to the public or to be the subject of additional frauds in the United Sates. Frauds have already been committed against public health funding in Canada.

the DANGERS are for all ages, BTW…but it is such a crime to make a child take these drugs…Pills are not the answer for bored or active imaginations…or children who are suppressed to think that ever single thing the do is WRONG…think… about it people, HOW would yhou feel if since you learned how to walk and talk BIG people yelled NO DONT TOUCH DONT GET DIRTY YOU WILL FALL DONT DO THAT DONT TOUCH THAT….there was a song in my day SIGNS ! SIGNS SIGNS EVER WHERE A SIGN STOP THAT DONT DO THIS CANT YOU READ THE SIGNS? All my life I was told YOU CANT…DONT…SIT DOWN AND BE QUIET! and some people tell me now to act my age! I am sooooo sick of suppresive people….IF we DO that and get hurt we learned PAIN and we learned to avoid it and we learned WE can still live and still DO whatever we set our minds to. These drugs have destroyed my life! I have missed out on my twenties because of the psychiatric bastards lying to me. I’ve lived like a fat vegetable with dementia for nearly ten years. I’m a lot better since i stopped taking medication; I’ve lost approx 4 stones in weight so i’m back to my normal 11 stone, i’m more alert, my senses have returned, i can converse with people a bit better and my spontaneity has came back a bit but i still have a lot of problems functioning and understanding how to operate technical things such as motorbikes and games consoles which i used to love and be amazing on. I used to work in a bike shop fixing bikes before i took these drugs and now they confuse the hell out of me. I haven’t had my twenties because of you bastards and no one cares – not even my family. I hope you all suffer for this.
