The person who wrote this piece does not seem to know what he/she is talking about, firstly you have no idea how good the people you mention would have been had they been on meds. My parents were straight 'A' students and i went through the first 15 years of my life thinking i was an idiot because i could'nt get above a C average and was always in trouble, as soon as i was put on medication my grades shot up to A the very next year and i finished my GCSE's with straight A's. completely changed my life. you say "Our pharmaceutically drug induced children have no chance to become the likes of these great men"...what exactly is that silly little comment based on? No scientific test, you are completely undermining the field of psychology, of which you seem to know little.

This is not the first article that identifies a potential link between ADHD and high IQs. Personally, I was identified as "gifted" at an early age. IQ test showed that I had a very high IQ. At the age of 27, I too was diagnosed with ADHD. Similar links have been identified in famous scientists such as Albert Einstein and entrepreneurs such as Bill Gates. This is just one more piece of evidence that ADHD does not have to be a disability. ADHD traits may be harnessed to achieve high levels of success.
