If only we could take that responsibility. Governments from those deemed health care professionals force will & law upon you, you the individual become further crushed just when your mind requires a release from all influences.

Within Scotland, time of writing, Patients Rights Bill, about to be presented, shall this small country listen?

Informed consent requires to be reality, CCHR, International, just keep on working at this.

I am saddened by the loss of your two dear friends. You have made an important point: modern medical science has become concerned only with changing symptoms, not with locating and eliminating the cause of the symptom. That's because changing symptoms that persist is profitable, whereas eliminating symptoms is not. What if doctors were paid based on the number of healthy people walking around, rather than how many people remain sick and debilitated by symptoms and the side-effects of treatments?

This mindset is why a growing number of people are being put onto psychiatric drugs, as a way to "manage" the human condition. Big Pharma will not rest until every life form on the planet is a life-long customer for their drugs.

I think the solution is for us to each take responsibility for our own health, to whatever extent we can--and that includes our mental health. Provided, of course, that we protect our right to do so, and do not allow the government to take that freedom away from us!

Excellent pointers — everybody should read this.

Last year, two wonderful people that I knew died from cancer. However, in both cases, when the doctor said they'd need to go through chemotherapy, both asked their doctor if that's what they'd do if they were the ones needing urgent care and guess what, both answered they wouldn't do chemo!

Both these people had small cancer tumors which grew out of proportion after the chemotherapy had been declared a success — they both died about a month after they had been released from the hospital.

What they both told me before they died is that they would've liked to know what the doctors would've done instead of chemo.

I'm not sure but I have a hunch the doctors would've cured themselves with natural food, exercise, oxygen, baking soda or some other non-invasive approach which actually works, even against the worst of cancers!

But...

I doubt the doctors could even mention these "alternatives" because they're bound, by their medical order, to only treat with the approved methods.

Surely, eating lots of onion, garlic and ginger isn't on any of their "official" lists so maybe that's why they answered the truth (that they wouldn't take chemo) but they never quite told the rest of their personal plan because it would've been, well, illegal for them to do so!

If somebody else has another take on this, I'd love to hear it but that won't bring these awesome people back...
