I'm sure a lot of people have seen bowling for columbine by Michael Moore. The CCHR may be able to find a correlation between psychiatric drugs and violence, but it seems to ignore the many other factors and potential factors. When a school shooting takes place, there is never one single cause, Michael Moore looked into the many other possible causes of violence, the drugs may have been a factor in the event, but its almost impossible that it is the only cause.

My father was sad after the passing of my mother. "Depressed". He was put on Paxil. It was hard to get him to do anything, play cards, go for excursions, talk. He sat in front of the TV all day. Then he was put on Zoloft. Two days later he killed himself. He was 88. If you think that was the end, it wasn't. For seven years I blamed myself, and couldn't understand what I did wrong. I went through massive self-recrimination, and ended up seeing a psychiatrist myself. The first thing he wanted to do was put me on drugs. I resisted. I prayed, meditated, took time, worked at a menial job for six years (all I could handle), did service for as many other people as I could handle, and slowly recovered my sense of self worth. This past year I discovered the truth about these drugs. I am not angry for me, I'm over that, but I am deeply concerned about many of my clients who have unruly children and under-developed parenting skills, who are being told by teachers to put their children on drugs. These are simple people who are intimidated by authority figures, who are being forced into compliance by pressure and threats. You must aim your articles and information at those who are of limited education, because they are the most vulnerable. Thank-you for the work you are doing.

It's time to enjoy life! Philippians 1:28. "and not in any way be terrified (feared) by your adversaries, which is to them a proof of peridition, but to you of salvation, and that from God". There's a rainbow beneath the clouds. Thanks to Dr. Peter Breggin and to Doctors' such as Dr. Mark Hyman, M.D. "The Ultra Mind Solution" also, to Dr. Eric R. Braverman,Md. To the new discoveries being made on the plastivity of the Human Brain and to supplements, alternative medicine and to what really works! Thanks for the bible, God our genuine, authenic healer and architect. We are headed towards a new conciousness and traditional psychiatry as we see it now; will someday be obsolete!

My mothers boyfriend was taking Prozac. I told him this drug is dangerous and side effects include suicidal and homicidal thoughts. He responded that it did not affect him that way and not to worry. Five years later, and a few more phsychiatric drugs on the list, he committed suicide. He was a kind, caring, simple man. I regret that I didn't try harder to show him the truth. Psychiatry's immorality can only be tackled by the moral; that's us.

I echo the author. I've gone through all this, except the violence. I'm a boring person, intellectual, conservative, quiet. Went through some hell in life and was misdiagnosed with depression--I was having normal reactions to abnormal stress. Anyhow Paxil and other medications had no positive effect. But they kept perscribing them--so that I'd maintain weekly visits and they could bill my insurance. Anyhow, I don't like to take anything for headaches and colds. So I eventually decreased what I was taking and weaned myself off this stuff. Yet it took 2-3 years before I became "normal" again. When you go through it you don't realize how your thinking is affected. I made some decisions that were NOT GOOD for me, my finances, my relationships, for anything. Can we get health care REFORMED? Whey are these doctors rewarded financially for repeated visits and over-perscribing unneeded medication??????

We are going to see more and more of the truth about these drugs as time goes on. It corroborates the simple fact that psychiatrists are truly quacks and are not really a profession at all, but something that is made up out of someone's fancy. It is time everyone. For mankind to advance into the future, psychiatry and big pharma need to go on trial and get convicted of crimes against humanity. That is what it really is. One of the hardest things for people to face up to is the evil in the world, and it doesn't get much more evil than this (save outright murder-- yet I think one can argue the fact that what big pharma and psychiatrists are doing is in fact murder).

I've had it. I can no longer share this world with these individuals who commit such heinous atrocities against mankind. It is time for all of us to take a stand, for the love of mankind, lest we cease to exist as a species.

I wonder how many marriages and relationships collapse not from one partner getting depressed, but from the prescriptions they are given by their GP? Equally, how many people stressed by the divorce process find themselves on medication, and blame an aggressive and emotionally scarring divorce on their ex, instead of on their own inability to communicate and connect? Which is hard to do because they are dosed up on antidepressants....
